What qualities will our 21st-century learners have to possess in order to be successful in society? The 4 characteristics that have been identified as the most vital are collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and creativity! These are what employers of today are seeking in their candidates and thank goodness Montessori kids practice these on a regular basis. We saw this in action during our fall preview week, where our kindergarten, third and sixth graders all got to “preview” their new classrooms for next year. We also enjoyed hosting parents of these students for tours and drop in opportunities this week. We are looking forward to Wednesday, where our “student ambassadors” will tour parents through their classrooms. It’s a great opportunity to mentor and practice the 4 C’s!
